First let's agree on something, it's very clear that teaching kids differs from teaching teenagers because the more they get old the more they will start acting the way you taught them when they were young and will act as if they know everything already, their ability of receiving new knowledge and information about anything in life won't be as fast as they received it when they were young and it won’t be easy teaching them what’s right as you will need to use some tricks and indirect ways.

So why don't you just start teaching your kid the right manners and how to talk to other people while they're still young and fresh. But first keep in your mind that your kid learn from how you act with him or your way of dealing with things in front of him so be carful, they usually don't hear what you are saying to them because they will be thinking of playing but at the same time they will be watching you.
