Why CrossFit?
1) Destiny always finds its way

I began to spend most of my time at the gym since 2013 doing 10 to 20 reps in 3 sets on every machine or going to body combat and body attack classes, it's just when I finish my workout and feel it in my muscles as if it's telling me "You did a great job and here I am growing to make you more strong and beautiful" it's like doing what you love and get rewarded for it...Do you have something better than this?!! because I didn't find any.
After 3 years everything became boring, I love it but I wanted to do more than just doing my sets on every machine or doing same movements once every week in body combat classes or body attack, With all respect to those who go to the gym or Les Mills classes as they made half of what i am now.
It's just i hate routine life, at that time I didn't know about CrossFit just used to go to Samia Allouba gym and that's where destiny took its path when they gave me a day pass to CrossFit XFit as a gift, that day the workouts were so much fun with a lot of energy and the best part is that everyday has it's own workout so i won't get bored and i'll play with full energy. That was the day i fall in love with CrossFit.
I surfed the internet about it and i found 4 lines explaining CrossFit and these lines made me fall more for it "CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life...."
2)Transformation phase
My 6 months journey started at CrossFit Fit Factory 4th of December 2016, I went there with a friend of mine and it was one of the best 6 months I’ve ever had, I met new friends who I consider them my family now then I knew about the competitions after one month and half I joined CrossFit stars competition and I made it to the semi finals with my team, i also joined transformers competition (first Elite competition for me) after this 6 months and i made it to the finals with my team, it was a very good progress for me, This made me sure that CrossFit is definitely my thing.
"Competitions is't about winning or losing, it’s only about what you can improve to give more of it and what you need to work on it to make it better."
I went to CrossFit Hustle 10th of July 2017, they were doing a huge effort with us and I also met very nice people there who i consider them my friends now eventho i play now at Fit Factory again i'll always keep in touch with them and might do some workout with them again one more time -InshaaAllah- .
3) people will always Criticise you!
After awhile i started to post some videos of me lifting some weights on Instagram which are nth compared to other athletes , some of my friends started to tell me "why are you building your muscles"...."it's a very tough game for girls"...."if someone bothered me I’ll leave him for you to hit him, of course you are much more stronger"...."why are you doing this to yourself"...."why do your hands always get ripped"...."Take care not to get bulk suddenly!" .
This kinda words never bothered me actually it makes me happy because people are noticing what I am doing here but i also want to explain to them three simple things:
First my hands heal like any other human being -I’m not an alien- and its a pride because it says how hard I’m trying to improve myself.
Second playing CrossFit doesn't mean whenever someone bother me I’ll hit him in the face, it's all about your technique that can make you lift more weights not hit more people!
Third girls will never get bulk except if they took some supplements like steroids and no one have the right to judge any person's body shape.
"I'm just a girl who plays CrossFit and that doesn't mean that I’m turning into another species but being a girl doesn’t mean I have to be weak."

But for those who encourage me and tell me that i'm doing a great work, thank you so much because these kind of people make my heart jump out of happiness just from a few words, There is nothing better than feeling appreciated.

4)For me CrossFit is a "life" not a "sport".... [endif]For me CrossFit is more like a lifestyle, it taught me so many things, of course i'm still learning and i'm looking forward to be a coach because what can possibly be more beautiful than hearing that you've made someone's life better?
Before when I used to get depressed all what I do is go to sleep, I used to give up to what made me sad but now CrossFit taught me whenever i can’t lift myself up, i won't give up and all what i’ll have to do is to increase my strength to be able to improve and lift myself so i can be better than before, it’s like standing up after falling down and also getting yourself a bonus.
The most important thing in CrossFit is to know when to stop, I had injuries before and i instantly go to the doctor to check, sometimes he tells me to stop playing for a week or more and sometimes he just tell me it’s okay if I play, It’s all about taking care of yourself, you have only one body!
5)For you!
I was writing about what i love the most which added so much in my life and i'm truly thankful for it, so i want you to find what you love too, it's never too late to be more than good at it.
I asked myself some questions and that's how i knew that CrossFit is my thing, And these are the questions but please be honest with yourself while answering them:
What are the things you enjoyed doing the most?
Think back of a time where you were highly satisfied and fulfilled with yourself, what were you doing then?
What kind of topics interest you and get you pumped up once you start talking about them- what's the deep reasoning behind these topics that moves something within you?
If you had a choice of choosing something you'd spend the rest of your life doing, what would it be?
-Kareem Esmail's questions-
And now it's your time to start....
Just do it!
